This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Oterpink (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Oterpink Inc. The Application is a mobile application which allows users to create photo books from their device and to receive a printed copy at a user defined address.

What information does the Application collect?

User Provided Information

We collect personal information that you submit to us voluntarily through the Application. When you post any material (such as user content) through the Application, you may be providing personal information. When you order a photo book through the Application, you provide personal information necessary to complete the transaction, including your name, email, phone number, credit card information and shipping information. When you contact us to give feedback or ask a question using the forms provided by us, you provide your email address and your comment, question or feedback.

The Application also allows you to log to social networking services like Facebook or Instagram (each, a “Social Networking Service”, and/or a “SNS”). When you add a SNS account to the Application, we will collect relevant information necessary to enable the Application to access that SNS and your data contained within that SNS. As part of such integration, the SNS will provide us with access to certain information that you have provided to the SNS, and we will use, store and disclose such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, please remember that the manner in which social networking services use, store and disclose your information is governed by the policies of such third parties, and Oterpink Inc. shall have no liability or responsibility for the privacy practices or other actions of any SNS that may be enabled within the Application.

You may also have the option of posting your Application activities to social networking services by using the Application; you acknowledge that if you choose to use this feature, your friends, followers and subscribers on any social networking services you have enabled will be able to view such activities.

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the Application or our third party service providers may collect non-personally-identifiable information automatically, including, but not limited to, your device model, operating system, IP address.

How do we use the information collected?

We use your information for the following general purposes: to fulfill your requests for products and services, administrative purposes, to improve our services, to customize the advertising and content you see, to contact you, and for internal business purposes.

We use anonymous information, such as that pertaining to mobile pages you have viewed, in order to analyze trends, track user’s movements, provide a better user experience. We do not use this data in a manner that would identify you personally.

We reserve the right to remove any information posted on the Application for any reason. Normally, we would only do this if we believe, in our judgment, that posted information: (i) infringes, misappropriates or violates a third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights or other intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy; (ii) violates, or encourages any conduct that would violate, any applicable law or regulation or would give rise to civil liability; (iii) is fraudulent, false, misleading or deceptive; (iv) is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar or offensive; (v) promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment or harm against any individual or group; (vi) is violent or threatening or promotes violence or actions that are threatening to any other person; or (vii) promotes illegal or harmful activities or substances; or (vii) simply isn’t appropriate for a family audience.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;

  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

  • with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

  • if Oterpink Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device. You can also request to opt-out via email, at

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.


We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.


We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
